2017 silverado

I went I to roger dean to just look at their trucks with no intention of buying that day. I was immediately greeted by the manager and sales staff. I was given keys to test drive a truck and loved it. Dennis was very helpful during the whole experience. He was able to get me into a truck I wanted at the price I wanted it for with no bs inbetween. I would highly recommend Roger Dean to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

Poor Quality- Cost Rip Off

I have a 2004 Corvette, in March 2017 I had Roger Dean Chevrolet in Cape Coral replace the upper and lower oil pan gaskets for approximately $1,100. Note, I have never had my car serviced anywhere but this dealer and the car has 47,000 miles. The original gaskets lasted 13 years so all in all very reasonable. However the gasket is leaking again (just started in September 2018) and Roger Dean has basically stated that the gasket is out of warranty and that I would need to pay to have them replaced again. They eventually reduced the price by a couple of hundred dollars but why would I pay someone that has proven they didn't do the job properly the first time (13 years vs 18 months). There have only been approximately 2,000-3,000 miles put on since the replacement. Bottom line is they are pointing at GM warranty and even said if I have the work done this time there is a two year warranty. They also said this is such a large job, exactly! I paid them for that and now they want me to do it again. I could and do not recommend this dealer.

LIED ABOUT SERVICE WORK COMPLETED

Horrible service experience with this dealership. Very disappointed. I was having some engine issues I am by no means a mechanic but I've worked on some of my older trucks and I know how an engine works. I was able to narrow my issue down to a couple of possibilities. I went to Roger Dean Chevy expressed my concerns and had them run the diagnostic on this particular component. The next day they called the said they ran some test, made some adjustments, checked the fluid and everything checked out and was looking good. My vehicle is still under warranty but the warranty does not cover the diagnostic. That is perfectly understandable, I bit the bullet and I paid the 120$ for the service. I picked up my truck drove it home and it was like nothing changed. Fast forward 2 weeks my vehicle is still acting funny so I took it to another Chevy dealership down south and they told me the condition of this component was absolutely horrible. They checked my fluid and told me the same thing, it was the worst they had ever seen on a vehicle still running. Finally an HONEST service department. It sucks to know that Roger Dean Chevy let me drive off knowing that they just lied to me. I work in public safety if I lie to a patient they can possibly die. It may seem a little exaggerated my example but if I'm going some where and spending 30k on a vehicle the least they can do is be straight forward with me. The shop workers get paid the same whether they fix the problem or lie about it. I'm glad I found a dealership that puts their customers first. I can't thank this gentleman enough that was completely honest with me. I will be following up with the corporate office or the owners of Roger Dean Chevy what they did was not right. As for the gentleman at the other dealership I have nothing but love and respect for him. He saved me a lot of money and headache, and he is going to make the same salary he did whether he helped me or not.

Fast and Easy at a great price

Tim was good at getting what I needed for a trade and got me into a very nice Crew Cab Silverado at a price that fit my needs, Great after sales, called the next day, and stopped me at the dealership with my other car checking making sure it was everything was good the new truck. Gave Tim's cards to two other people that are looking.

I got what I wanted.

On the Roger Dean website, I saw a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse that had the features and color that I wanted. The Traverse was located at their other sales located in Palm Beach, FL. The Cape Coral location worked it out so that I ended up with the desired 2018 Silver Traverse .

Danny squeezed me in with an emergency appointment when no openings were available. He did an excellent job trying to figure the issue by my description and gave an estimate if the issue turned out to be what we figured. It did turn out as figured and was a high price tag but we worked everything out as always. Been seeing Danny for a couple of years now and you will not find a friendlier or more knowledgeable employee. Thanks Danny!

Exceptional Service

We called while waiting for a tow truck. After finishing up my Physical Therapy my husband and I went out to parking lot to find our car would not start. My husband knew it was the battery but we also knew it was only around two yrs. old . We called Allstate which is what\ we carry instead of AAA. they were suppose to have a truck there in an hour. We then called Roger Dean and Danny from service was very professional when telling us it was very busy and they might not have time to work on it that day. Danny also told us he would have someone bring us home. Our tow truck never arrived and we waited almost 2 plus hrs in extreme heat. Someone came along who had cables and was able to get the car going and we brought it in. Your service Dept worked on it changed the battery within an hour. When we left my husband said he would not buy a car anywhere but at Roger Dean because of the service Dept. So congratulaltions Danny and fellow workers you guys made a miserable day pleasant.
