Bravo, Melissa and the service crew!

Yesterday, I had my 2016 Mustang serviced to replace the front control arms. I could not be more pleased with the efficiency, courtesy, and competence of Melissa Land and the service crew at Sam Galloway Ford. I bought my car from this dealership and will always rely on Galloway Ford to maintain my beautiful Mustang.

Untrustworthy and super shady

Worked with a salesperson to draft paperwork, I got a loan approved, the last step was to reserve it for 4 days so I could fly in from California to do a last look and drive it off the lot. I booked flights and accommodations and got quotes on shipping it back to California only to get a dismissive email this morning that the car had been sold by another salesperson. Furious, I kept asking what happened until i finally received a call that when they were inspecting the car (I asked for them to do that) they found “so much wrong” that they went straight to auction with it, without informing me of what’s wrong. I call xxxxxxxx. They won’t share the report and now I’m stuck with flights to Florida. Don’t do business here.

Bait and Switch Untrustworthy

After doing all due diligence, calling the dealership to confirm the vehicle I wanted was there and available. Confirming with the salesman JW that I was traveling over one hour one way to buy the vehicle. He said come on down it’s here available and I’ll have it ready for you. So my wife and I arrive, I see the vehicle out front and get greeted with the news that “oh that vehicle just sold 10 minutes ago. That was it not even a sincere apology for the inconvenience or an offer to talk to a manager Thanks for wasting my time and money. As a 100% Disabled Veteran trying to survive on a limited income I certainly didn’t need to waste valuable resources driving to a deceptive at worst incompetent at best dealership like Galloway Ford. Lesson learned, they have lost a customer for life, and all of my VA, Legion, VFW, and DAV Friends will here this story. Michael A. Foy CSM US Army Retired

Great experience

My husband and I went into Sam Galloway to buy a focus rs. Bob was our salesmen he was polite and considerate the entire time. Jimmy did our financing the two of them worked hard to get us a great deal! We are so appreciative of their hard work.

Never again!!!!!!

Had bad experience with my wife’s car, but thought that was isolated, so gave them the benefit of doubt and took my truck in for minor warranty repair, on Monday, this is Thursday evening, still haven’t started repair. At their mercy...will never go back have learned my lesson

Red Carpet Rolled Out

Purchased a new Lincoln and was treated amazing. The manager Anthony went above and beyond in getting me the exact car I wanted from several states away. Susan spent a lot of time going over car with us and Jason made paperwork easy. Great experience. Would not think of going anywhere else again.

Worst dealership to buy from and they lie to you

I took my car in because I had a slice in my tire and I've watched their warranty package to cover my tires. I bought four new tires from them I need did an alignment and when I got the car back the steering wheel is crooked and had to take the car back and explain it to him that it was wrong. Everything has been wrong from this dealership from day one and I really don't know what to do because of being lied to so much . When I buy another vehicle it will not be from them and I won't take it in to them for service because of the problems I've had with them. Just to say if you don't know what to look for and you let them work on it expect to have problems afterwards .

Horrible experience

I can't believe how a well known company like this treat their customers so horrible. The financial department sucks, we were lied to, I'm extremely disgusted, we'll never buy a car with Sam Galloway Ford even if they were the cheapest place to get a car in the state of Florida.

You will lose your money !!!

I went there to get new ford. I have an existing Ford Focus 2014 only 060000 miles they said the market value of this car is only $4500 I said really!!!! When I went to KKB web site to see if they have the reason my car value is $10500 please be honest with the customer and try to do better.

Kind, Friendly, but sub-par service

Service Rep very kind, friendly, understanding, and personable, very helpful and went out of his way in other issues, Main Issue: New 2016 F150, Passenger Door un-locking mechanism does not work properly Visit 1: "We need to order a part" Visit 2: Part installed Issue: Fixed for couple hours then re-occurred (same problem) Visit 3: "We adjusted several things to try to fix, also we will order new part ASAP, we will call when new part is in" Issue: not fixed (same problem) Issue: no call after 2+ weeks, I called in: the part was never ordered, asked to have rep call me back, rep never called back. Currently at other dealership to try to fix the problem. Dale

Exceptional

Me and my husband had a Ford Escape and was at the end of our lease and we were way over mileage. So we went to the dealership to see what our options were. Well to make a long story short we walk out with a Ford Edge and we are very pleased on how the transaction went. There wa no pressure what so ever. So if you are looking for a vehicle go to an Sam Galloway.

Terrible dealership

I bought my 1st car from Sam Gallaway. The first night it broke down and had to be towed back. 5 months later the alternator went out and had to be replaced. A month later another alternator went out. I had to replace the alternator 2 more times as well as various other parts before it had been a year. I called ford to get an inspection on the vehicle and they kept it for 2 days just to tell me they reset the check engine light and couldn't find any problems. A week later I contacted ford to see if they could do something about this, since the car has been nothing but problems. They called me back 2 days later and said they would take care of me and get this fix. I bring my car on Monday and they first appraise my mustang. They appraised it for less than half what I paid after just having it for a year. They proceeded to tell me I could only be put in a Ford Focus or Ford Fusion because now I would have negative inequity that would carry over to the next car. After waiting all day they told me they cannot do anything for me, leaving me with a problem car! I will never buy another ford again

Horrible, horrible customer service

Giving 1 star was my only choice. I've read reviews on different sites over the past 10 or so years and 50% of them have been bad. I've been giving Sam Galloway the benefit of the doubt and I am now no longer going to do so. We have a 2014 Ford Explorer that has had the same exact problems 3 separate times over the past 12 months. The service department has the car for weeks at a time and no one can seem to figure out what is wrong with it. The last time we brought it in there, they said they figured it out and they fixed it. Now 3 months later, we're having the exact same problems again. Meanwhile, the visor in our 2015 Mustang GT no longer works. The mirror light is out and the homelink (a.k.a. garage door opener) no longer works. I called last Tuesday to try to get it in for service. The woman told me they would try to get someone to look at it that day. I decided to make an appointment for 9am on Saturday instead. I dropped the car off at 8:30 am with the service person named Jeff. He said that he would call me in a few hours. At 3:30, I still hadn't heard from Jeff or anyone from the service center and knowing that they close at 4pm, I had to call the. I asked for Jeff and was put on hold for 14 minutes and 41 seconds. Then hung up and called again and got Jeff on the phone and he told me that no one has looked at the car today and that he is sorry. No explanation of why nor did he give me any resolution. The funny thing is that the same thing happened about 2 months ago with the sister company Coconut Point Ford in Estero. I dropped my car off at 8am, they shuttled me to work. Got a ride to dealership at 5pm and they told me that they didn't have time to look at it thoroughly to give a diagnosis or decide if they could order parts. Lesson learned, I will now take our vehicles to Sarasota Ford. That's where we ended up buy-ing the mustang from and saving $10,000 and got a car that is extremely better than what Galloway or Coconut Point could offer us. Believe me it will be worth the drive. If you choose to do business with either dealership, I wish you the best of luck!!

ASHTON LUMMIS; was the rep we talked to. We had just arrived in town with our new f150 and I had destroyed my wiper blades and needed new ones.WE stopped at the first dealership and this gentleman was in the parking lot. He approached us as we drove in and asked if we needed help and we explained our situation and he told us what we needed to do. WE went to service and bought our new blades and Mr.Lummis helped me put them on. Actually he put them on for me. I want to thank him for his help. You couldn't ask for a better gentleman....... Manager Curses Out Saleman In Front Of Customers

Test drove a pre-owned and was in the process of doing the usual back and forth negotiations with our sale man. A pleasant guy named Bruce. We were getting very close to agreeable terms until his last discussion with his sales manager turned into a completely unprofessional berating right in front of a showroom full of customers; including my daughter and a few other kids. The berating included a few F-Bombs which was unexpected to say the least. When the salesman returned with a half nervous grin I told him I wanted nothing to do with the dealership if that's how management was treating their sales staff. The manager approached as I was walking out the door to ask what more they could do to gain our business. And that they were, "Eager to sell this car." To which I responded, "I will gladly pay $1,000 more elsewhere after hearing you curse out your salesman." I truly feel bad for the sales people here. I have no idea how management expects them to succeed when being led this way. By the way, the manager's name was Billy Todd.

waste of time

Made an appointment to test drive and cash buy a mustang, when I arrived after a 3 hour drive just to be told that they have no idea where it is. So I looked on there website for another one....well that one was also missing....Don't belive a word these guys say! I was told the car would be waiting for me when I arrived, I was so excited for the but end up not even getting to see one!

No Lincoln experience

Bought a new MKZ the car was dirty and rims were damaged at time of delivery. Should have refused the deal then. We've indured countless service issues some of which multiple times. Sales rep wasn't very customer centric at all leaving us in a hall waiting for the finance guy. Only to wait about fifteen minutes to be lied to about additional warrantee. Making this deal on the car was like going to billy bobs used car lot all the crappy sales techniques were used. There was no continuity of car during the sales and delivery process. Lincoln customer care wasn't any help either.
